Insure that all students wear long pants, and students should not trace above the inside of the knee joint. |
| Text of Learning Exercise: |
Materials: Felt pens, crayons, coloring pencils, large roll of white paper about 48 in. wide, access to internet and the assigned web site. Suggested Procedure: Divide the class in to group/steams by gender. Have one student trace the whole body outline of another student. Have the students STOP at the inside of the knee joint. Depending on the grade level; the instuctor can direct the student to "fill in", for example, bones of the left arm, blood vessels of the right leg, digestive system, liver, etc. |
